Stop Optimizing for Keywords Nobody Searches
Most "SEO tools" show you fake search volume numbers and let you optimize for internal buzzwords. Symbion's Keyword Reality Check uses AI scoring, real SERP signals, and Google Search Console data to tell you whether your keywords actually exist in the market — or only in your marketing deck.

What you'll know after 30 seconds
"Content Experience Platform"
"CMS with personalization"
SEO works outside your company — not inside
Companies spend months optimizing for "Premium Innovative Solution Platform" while real users search for "how to fix [problem]". Classic SEO tools like Yoast and RankMath don't tell you this. They let you happily optimize for any keyword — even ones that no human being has ever typed into Google.
❌ What we DON'T do
- Show fake search volume numbers
- Present misleading metrics
- Make ranking promises without real data
- Let you optimize for buzzwords unchecked
✅ What we DO
- Clear language: "this keyword is barely searched"
- Real consulting instead of data dumps
- Qualitative analysis + real GSC performance data
- Actionable alternatives that people actually search
Four components. One honest score. Zero fake numbers.
Every keyword is scored from 0 to 100 using four weighted components. The result isn't a made-up "search volume" — it's a qualitative assessment of whether real people actually search for this term.
Market Usage
Is this term actually used by real users in search queries? Does it appear in typical search patterns? This is the strongest signal — a term that nobody types into Google is worthless as a keyword, no matter how much you love it.
Intent Clarity
Is there a clear reason WHY someone would search this? Purchase intent, information seeking, comparison shopping? Keywords without clear intent rarely convert — even if they get impressions.
Structural Potential
Does the keyword have structural advantages? Long-tail specificity, question format, problem-solution framing? No ranking promises — just structural analysis of whether the keyword format has inherent advantages.
Internal Bias Penalty
Active deduction for marketing buzzwords, jargon, and corporate speak. Words like "premium", "innovative", "next-gen", "revolutionary" trigger automatic penalties. Trademark symbols (™, ®) cost −10 points. ALL CAPS costs −8 points.
Traffic Light Classification
This keyword is actively searched by real users. Optimize for it with confidence.
Has potential but isn't a clear market term. Consider refining, expanding, or combining it.
This is an internal buzzword. Nobody outside your company searches for it. Replace it.
Your marketing team thinks it's a keyword. Google disagrees.
Symbion automatically detects marketing language, corporate jargon, and buzzwords that sound impressive in a pitch deck but are never typed into a search engine. The Internal Bias Detection uses pattern matching to identify these terms and applies score penalties.
Detected patterns include:
Example: "Premium Innovative Health Platform™" → Score 18/100 (Internal 🔴)
Three independent signals. One reliable verdict.
Symbion doesn't rely on a single data source. Every keyword is validated against three independent signals to minimize false positives and give you confidence in the result.
1. AI Analysis with Real-Time Search Data
The AI evaluates each keyword against real-world search behavior patterns. It considers market usage, intent clarity, structural potential, and detects internal bias — all through a custom prompt engineered for honest SEO analysis, enhanced with real-time search data for additional context.
2. SERP Signals (Google Autosuggest)
Every keyword is checked against Google's Autosuggest API — the same suggestions you see when typing in Google. Autosuggest reflects real search popularity, not exact volume numbers. If Google suggests your keyword, there is genuine search interest. If it doesn't appear, that's a strong signal worth paying attention to.
3. Google Search Console
Connect your Google Search Console and Symbion overlays your actual performance data: impressions, clicks, CTR, and average position. Real data from your own site — not estimates from a third-party tool.
Example: "Premium Gesundheitsprodukte" → 10 market-tested alternatives
Bad keyword? Here are 10 better ones.
When Symbion flags a keyword as internal or borderline, it doesn't just say "this is bad" — it generates market-tested alternatives that real users actually search for. Five expansion types cover every search intent.
Each alternative includes an estimated relevance rating (high / medium / low) so you can prioritize which keywords to pursue first.
From keyword to verdict — the full pipeline
Input & Context
Enter up to 20 keywords directly in WordPress. Symbion automatically captures page title and content (first 2,000 characters) to give the AI context about what your page is about.
Decision Stability Check
If a keyword has already been analyzed, Symbion treats that decision as stable — returning the existing classification instantly. This prevents AI drift, where re-analysis would surface different suggestions each time and create an endless optimization loop. Different stability windows apply: 7 days for market terms, 14 for borderline, 30 for internal keywords.
AI Scoring with Live Search Data
New keywords are analyzed using best-in-class AI models enhanced with real-time search data for additional context. Structured JSON output ensures a consistent result format — while the Decision Stability layer ensures that classifications remain reliable over time.
SERP Signal Enhancement
Each keyword is checked against Google Autosuggest to validate whether real users search for it. Found in suggestions? Bonus points. Top 3 position? Extra bonus. Many related suggestions? Even more.
GSC Overlay (Optional)
If Google Search Console is connected, Symbion overlays your actual impressions, clicks, CTR, and position data. Partial keyword matching catches variations. GSC data is always fetched live — never cached.
Results & Alternatives
Every keyword gets a score (0-100), a traffic light classification (🟢 🟡 🔴), a plain-language explanation, and optionally up to 10 market-tested alternatives. A summary shows your overall keyword health.
At some point, we say: it's done.
AI systems, when asked to re-analyze the same content, will always find something new to change. This creates an endless loop where each revision triggers new suggestions. Symbion prevents this by treating completed analyses as stable decisions — not as starting points for another round of AI interpretation.

Why different stability windows? Market language evolves faster than internal jargon. A trending market term may shift in a week. "Premium Innovative Solution™" will still be a buzzword in a month. Controlled re-evaluation ensures you stay current without losing consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does a low score mean I can't use that keyword?
No. A low score tells you the market risk — not a prohibition. You can still use an internal term, but you should know that you're optimizing for a keyword that few people actually search for. That's a strategic decision, not an accident.
Can I still rank with internal keywords?
Yes, but usually only with high-quality explanatory content and significantly more effort. If nobody searches for your term, you're essentially creating demand rather than capturing it. That's a fundamentally different (and more expensive) SEO strategy.
Does the Keyword Reality Check replace traditional keyword tools?
No — it comes before them. Think of it as a strategic filter. Traditional tools help you optimize for a keyword. The Keyword Reality Check tells you whether that keyword is worth optimizing for in the first place.
Does this work for niche or B2B topics?
Especially there. B2B companies are the most likely to use internal jargon that nobody outside the company searches for. The gap between corporate language and market language is usually largest in B2B and deep niche verticals.
Do I need Google Search Console connected?
No. The Keyword Reality Check works fully without GSC — using AI analysis and SERP signals. GSC is an optional enhancement layer that adds your actual performance data (impressions, clicks, CTR, position). If you have it, great. If not, you still get a reliable keyword assessment.
